Why Tressel

For generations, investing in real-world assets has belonged to the few.

Not because opportunity was scarce. Because access was.

But the world is rapidly changing.

Technology has transformed how we communicate, travel, shop and work. Yet the way we invest in real-world assets has barely changed at all.

We think that's old fashioned & wrong. So we built Tressel.

The Tressel platform is a trading marketplace for real-world assets, designed for everyday Kiwis to discover, invest in, trade and manage ownership interests.

01One unique platform.
02Access to multiple asset classes.
03Unlimited potential applications.

Asset class one · Residential property

First on the platform: Housies.

Housies is the first asset class built on Tressel — shared ownership of residential property, so more Kiwis can own part of a home or invest in housing without buying a whole house.

  • One home. A property company buys and manages the house.
  • One Guardian. The person who lives there owns at least 2% and pays a licence fee on the rest.
  • Many investors. Investors own the remaining shares and can trade them on Tressel's secondary market.
